I've lurked the Hide for years and decided to make an account because this year I'm finally dipping my toes into high end glass and shooting farther than 300yds. True long range is the ambition for the years to come, but it's been a decade since I went out to even 5-600yds with irons or an ACOG as an 03. The interim has been almost exclusively short range carbine shooting with a red dot. Time to see where my fundamentals are at beyond confirming a BZO at 100-200yds.
