Nice. Lots of good shooting support out that way. Flint area here and try to make it to Youngs Longshot once a month.

I heard abt Young’s sounds like a awesome place to shoot .
Last wkd a friend invited me to go shoot at MTC in Lake City Mi it was so Awesome shooting over 1k yards and the facility was just as Awesome.

Lots of support plus the gun club has seen it’s highest member count hopefully it keeps going.I see your title former Sheepdog were you in the military?

I haven't been to MTC yet. Young's is nice because it is private and open everyday so no classes or anything to screw up your shooting plans. I was in the Army. I retired in June of 2015.

What’s the cost to join Young’s?

Youngs is $350 the first year and $250 per after that I believe. Its a nice setup. Provide paint, steel every 100yds out to 1,000 and a gator to go downrange in. Makes you feel spoiled. Lol

Mtc is hosting monthly precision rifle matches this year if that is your interest.

Also have monthly pistol matches along with all the classes. Really cool place and everyone i have met has been great so far.

How do you like that club, I live about 15 minutes south of there and thought about joining it.

I really like it a lot the members are great they always are helpful and nice.
The longest rifle range is 388 yards which I shot today so nice out.
I live about 8 mins away to the east.

Yes I talk to a friend today while shooting and he mentioned about the matches I waiting for my chassis to come in and try to find a deal on scope then practice practice practice then try a match.

Sounds great wish it was a tad bit closer maybe this summer take a trip down.
