Hey ya'll, lookin for some input from the HK gurus out there.
Brand new HK45 - 250 flawless rounds thru it so far and i can conclude that it is extremely precise (1inch groups at 10-15 yards 2 hands unsupported, which is as good as I can do anyway)
BUT...
it is printing groups 1.25 inches high and 1.25 right at only 10 yards. Now I can drift the rear sight but any ideas on the elevation? Guess I will have to get some Heinie eights, wanted some anyway. It is like this thing is sighted in for 50 yards or something. At 25 yards it is about 2.5-3 inches high.
By the way, those results are with a six oclock hold (ie point of aim is on bottom edge of desired point of impact, not behind the front sight).
You think HK installed a short front sight for some reason? Anyone else have an HK45 who could chime in?
