Hodgdon reloading data error?

I was reviewing loads on Hodgdons website for .260 because of something I saw in a post. For 3 different bullet weights, these are the max listed loads using H4350....

130gr NOS AB - 42.7gr
140gr NOS PART - 42.0 gr
142 Sierra HPBT - 44.5 gr

That is a big difference between the 140 and 142 bullets.

So is this an error or is the bearing surface that different as to change the internal pressure?
 
First, I think that this is a question that is heavily advised to be brought before the Hodgdon folks. I don't wish to mediate on their behalf, it is neither my place, nor anything I would choose to be responsible for. Let them do their own explaining.

Second, I would strongly suggest that any reloading manual be considered within a context where there be limits assigned to the consideration the data provided. No data applies to all situations.

Now, for my own part, I trust my own judgement, but not even so far as I can throw it, even of I write it down on paper. My own knowledge does not exceed even that degree of certainty. If I am not cautious, I am out of my league.

Call them, see what they have say Contact Hodgdon.

Ha, it was your post which prompted me to go digging. Because my curiosity is piqued, I will contact them and post their answer.
