That was great. His delivery was awesome. A tad crude (the joke about the lady in Cats), but I enjoy a little wrong humor at times.

That monologue was like a cultural nuke going off in the heart of Hollywood. Even self described liberals like Gervias don't want to be associated with the hypocrisy, corruption, and frankly evil of many of those people that run Hollywood. Most of people like us don't watch shit like the Globes, but for those that do it was like having a 'red pill' forced down their throats as their icons were exposed and ridiculed.

I don’t know much Ricky Gervais, but in the little I’ve watched him, I can see he’s somewhat of an anomaly. A true liberal, but at least the guy stands for a belief system unlike the other amorphous fake turds in Hollywood. He calls it like he sees it, which means that as a conservative, you will find yourself agreeing with him quite a bit.
