It gives you the option to pair a "weather meter". Does anyone know if using a WeatherFlow weather meter hooked into your aux jack will link up and self populate into the fields or will you manually have to input the data?

Either or. Most pics I've seen, have the device attached using the aux.
Ya, I have a iPhone 8 no jack anyway. I think they have both a lanyard and aux adapter solely for convenience, not connectingI have the weathermeter and as far as I know the device only communicates via Bluetooth. The aux jax is just something to stick it into to hold it up. There is nothing in the manual showing any technical specs regarding communication via the aux.
I'll try to connect it via bluetooth and see if the 4dof app will populate from it and post back.
4DOF only works with the bluetooth weathermeter. It can be a little finicky but seems to work well. It grabbed atmosphere from a place I have never shot before and was right on this weekend.
Yeah each time I have tried to link up the kestrel 5700- it “blocks” the firing solution and I have to input manually ie it will say my elevation is o no matter the distance. I’m sure there’s a fix on the way- but I just type it in
It is probably a little early to say this as I haven't done as much testing as I'd like, but the 4DOF app paired with a Weatherflow or my 5700 Elite is more accurate to 1 mile than my 5700 Elite with AB. This is the 110 SMK using the AB CDM and the 4DOF "form factor". AB seems to be off a bit after about 1150 yards, I've always had to use 2 different setups in the kestrel depending on how far I'm shooting. 4DOF seems to be true to a mile. I hope to do a lot more testing this weekend. I'll report back anything interesting.
