I got a decent deal on a Remington XCR 338 Lapua. Gun sold new in December for $2,050.00, to the guy I got it from. He could have saved a couple bucks buying on line, but sometimes we all need to support the local shops.
Anyway, there seems to be ZERO resell value on this Lapua. I saw 1 on Armslist in VA for $1,200.00. Been on there for a month.
Is it really that bad?
I know used gun sales are in the toilet, BIG TIME. The biggest local gunshop is stocking an inventory that's 75% SMALLER than he stocked just 2 years ago. He said he has no choice, gun sales are down 75%. He also divided his big gunshop in 2 with a wall and rents out the other half.
Sure is good to have an American for President instead of .......
So, is the XCR a perceived piece of junk? I'm sure compared to all the high dollar customs on here, it's sub-par, but I guess what I'm asking is, in the hands of 1 of the "seasoned shooters" on here what's the difference in it's "capable" MOA compared to a $4,000.00 custom at say 1,000 yards or even a mile?
