Gunsmithing How can I tell if its bedded

Hey guys, I got my rifle back from my smith only to find that he screwed up on several things. I'm sending the rifle back monday. Its got me wondering if he bedded the action like he was supposed to. Is there a way to tell if its bedded by looking at it or do I need to take it apart

Take it apart, it's only two screws.

And, that will tell you if the gunsmith used separating medium or if you have a true glue-in.
