How do you carry your long range rifle?

As a lefty with a RH bolt, I hate how this option jabs me in my ribs, okay for a while but man does that get annoying quick.

I am also looking for a solution to carry a AICS chassis/folder with my mystery ranch pack. I would like a soft shelled cover to keep it from rubbing on the frame etc. I checked out the SOLO covers and they look awesome but dont think they will fit an AI style rifle.
