Put a boring bar on your toolpost, set your compound rest to the appropriate angle, then feed with the compound rest.

Might need two boring bars, depending on the insert geometry. Wicked fast on a turret lathe.
I use a tiny boring bar and leave the compound at the same angle as threading (29.5 degrees).
Now that you've got your lathe set up, gonna do any form 1 builds?
I just finished my Mk1 integral build. Been wanting to add one of these to my collection for awhile, but it took 6 months to get the form 1 back. Built it with a late 60s mk1 I picked up at a local pawn shop.
I got to use all 3 of my machines on this. The manual lathe, manual mill and CNC mill. The first rnd pop is a little annoying, but otherwise it sounds great.
The hardest part was building upwith TIG, and machining the front sight boss. Cobalt cerakoted with G10 grips.

Have you tried getting a little CO2 dispenser and spraying it down the inside of the can before the first shot to purge all the oxygen?

I've used wd40 and water, both of which create their own problems.
On a manual lathe, a boring bar can be used for the chamber pre-bore (if you’re into that sort of thing), counterbore, counterbore chamfer, chamber chamfer/edge break, and then run your spindle in reverse and chamfer the OD on the backside. One tool, one compound setup.
