Thanks, that helps. I have a height conundrum also. My only experience is with Harris, and it seems the sweet spot for me is somewhere around a Harris 9-13 on its minimum setting, or a 6-9 Harris fully extended.
I went to the 9-13 to get away from always having my 6-9 harris fully extended because it leaves me no additional upward movement to account for terrain, soft ground, etc. Harris feet like to spin and walk forward, so I added KNS snapfoot adapters to it so I could use talons when preferred, and the adapters added 0.5" to 1.3" to the height depending on which foot I use. Now the 9-13 feels too tall. I can make it work, but its stretching it, which probably isn't good fundementals.
So I'm banging my head on the desk trying to decided if I should purchase another 6-9 and add the KNS system to make it taller, cut the legs on my 9-13 to make it shorter, or just bail out and buy an Atlas. If their spec was for vertical legs, the decision would have been made.
