Worse, people who had tested negative multiple times for COVID-19 were being labeled as COVID-confirmed and put on COVID-only floors. Put on ventilators and drugged up with sedatives, these patients quickly deteriorated—even though they did not have coronavirus when they checked in.

Doctors-in-training were refusing to perform CPR—and banning nurses from doing it—on dying patients whose families had not consented to “Do Not Resuscitate” orders. ...

I thank the Lord every day that, even though my mother's stroke had been unavoidable, Providence had allowed it to happen in the months prior to the outbreak and my mother had been fully discharged right before this clusterfuck had happened... Providence had saved many potential scumbags' lives because of this too... For if anything had happened to my mother because of straight up bullshit, callous indifference, and malice, certain shitheads would be made to pay dearly and I do not mean in a court of law either. Once again I thank the Lord for me being able to be here with my mother and my GF and eating dinner instead of me being in some non-extradition country right now because I had done some John Wick type shit in my own hometown, or worse, in prison or dead...
