I am building my first precision rifle and - along many new to this forum - I am trying to pick right scope. One parameter is parallax/focus range. I live in relatively dense area and most (but not all) scopes I am looking at have range greater than I can find a straight uninterrupted line on my property. I was hoping to be able to practice dry/fire, do bore-sighting. I am also aware of indoor dry fire systems which I have researched and may get.
So back to question - should having parallax range be usable (not for firing) on my property be a significant factor? Yes - I can always get indoor dry fire system - but seems easier to just put target up without any adapters.
Thank you
