How long before China / Russia attack

If you feed something it multiplies

If you stop feeding that something there is a die off

That is why in state parks you are asked to not feed the animals

There is a lot to that one alas I wont go into but apply it as you will...

China won't have to attack us. Whenever they think the time is right, they'll take Taiwan. While we have the leadership equivalent of George McFly, they can just point to our inaction and ask the world if we're who they really want to side with. All they have to do is then convince OPEC to switch to the Yuan as their trading currency, and sit back and watch our economy totally collapse from hyper inflation caused by our 30 trillion dollar(and counting) debt. No nuclear war, no millions dead, just a new top dog with a very well developed and newly acquired client-state in desperate need of cash.

A world wide EMP from space may just be the thing that can save us. Darwin would conquer the weak. All Nations would be occupied with their own problems leaving no time for war. And of course big tech would lose it's noose around all our necks.

Times would be hard and character would be built. I think our current path is a far worse fate than the loss of power would be. Humanity has not evolved as fast as technology has. JMHO

But the truth is we will likely destroy ourselves before nature does.

I don't look at it as fear mongering, since this has been debated for decades. It's the what if and there is very little you can do to prepare as an individual. It reduces a population to shear survival of the fittest, while the enemy just sits back and watches.

As noted in various posts on this scenario, we have allowed ourselves to be overly dependent on electronic devices with related computer dependency. You fry the electric grid then the supply chain cascades to the negative. Think pharmaceuticals and all that are dependent on them for one. The psychotropic drugs that disappear and those who would be on the loose. That's just one example.

The wife deals with kids every day that have real psychological problems connected with smart phones/video dependencies.

Unfortunate but true in that regard as to the evolution the repercussions will be severe

@FS1 Times would be hard and character would be built. I think our current path is a far worse fate than the loss of power would be. Humanity has not evolved as fast as technology has. JMHO

the last time we read a book to do anything vs howto youtube

@rady As noted in various posts on this scenario, we have allowed ourselves to be overly dependent on electronic devices

Spoke to a teacher that does university level i asked "what happens if you made em all swim through a river and camped em for a night"

his response "absolute Insanity but we aren't allowed to do that"

@rady The wife deals with kids every day that have real psychological problems connected with smart phones/video dependencies.

Russia is basically a mafia run country that is slowly dying due to serious population shrinkage. It has no real exports other than oil and arms. Both are very susceptible to market fluctuations. Russia would have collapsed years ago if not for its nuclear weapons. You can thank western commies for that. China by far is the biggest threat. Grab a copy of The Hundred-Year Marathon by Michael Pillsbury. He was a career diplomat for the US with China. Freely admits he was wrong about China for many years. China has been taking the long approach for years and believes it has a devine destiny to rule the world--and they intend too. Economically, China has been at war with us for decades. It has either stolen or bought all sorts of secret information and materials from us and has bribed its way into about every aspect of the US. Can you spell Biden (and others) class???
Russia and US birth rates are statistically the same.

Having said that, Russia‘s military is not organized to be conventionally offensive in even a near peer war and their economy is not capable of supporting sustained foreign military projection. They are positioned for defense and any offensive would be asymmetrical in nature.

CCP is organizing to wage a conventional naval war with the US in what they deem to be their EEZ. China’s economy can support this policy and success expelling the US from east Asia would be a major psychological victory for them and a massive slap in the pentagon’s face. Economically, China is on relatively equal vulnerable footing with the US, but they are doing a bang up job of undermine our Republican government through their influence in corporate supply chains and media.

The Chinese can facilitate immigration channels from South and Central America and funnel money to politicians who will further undermine the fighting capability of our military. Perhaps, soon, they could find a government sufficiently amenable to weaponizing our own military against US citizens in a domestic capacity. Flag staff incentives were reorganized decades ago to produce more diverse leadership and we are only witnessing the logical conclusion and climax of that ideological shift.

It isn’t like the soldiers get to sleep with their weapons on domestic bases anyway.

The biggest threat to the west, and the entire world, is Karen and she has already cornered you.

This is an interesting analysis of the challenges China is facing to take over Europe, Asia, USA.
Skip the promotions and ads. Good analysis here.

Russia is not an economic power and even SSSR hayday its was much weaker than US economically , outcome of that cold war was near-certain from the get go , China in PPP terms is already economicaly stronger but will attain GDP parity with US sooner than later, Meanwhile, US is not an industrial superpower it once was, i don't see US getting upper hand against China. Particularly as long as the woke stupidity is permeating into every pore of US society. Chinese have to be laughing their asses off listening to stuff that is supposedly important in US politics.

Russia under sanctions is hardening up its economy and getting into industries that they would never develop without the sanctions. Funny tidbit around Russian pipelines for Germany , the pipelines now transiting Ukraine were at height of cold war financed by the Germans, US sanctioned the projects but Germans used a host of shell companies to get it done not only that , Germans exported shit tons of piping for the pipelines all over sovet union ,and that was at the time they were literally looking at each other down the barrel of a gun, so there is no logic for Germans to step away from a Nordstream 2 now that Russians are not even a remote threat to them.

Without US pushing Russia into Chinese orbit , Russians and Chinese would be closer to looking at each other down the barrel of the gun than the new BFFs they are now. Russia is vital to Chinese both in terms of raw materials as well as food and tech like aerospace, nuclear etc all supply is overland so ,immune to any kind of sanctions disruption.

Already in the white house, so why worry? If an internal take over doesn't work fast enough for the chinese, then what the hell, just do an emp and in 2-3 months they have what they want. "One Second After", by Forstchen gives the picture of what and how an emp attack will purify.
If you don't believe this, Klaus Schwab (the "Great Reset" guy), said Covid was just a "pre-challenge" to this, and all but said this is coming.

Why did Biden allow China to have access back into our power grid?

Not sure why anyone would attack the US while we're so busy destroying ourselves. If they attacked, we'd reflex into a position that would almost immediately rectify the majority of the socio-political issues we are dealing with today.

See, the thing is -- China attacked a over a decade ago. They've made calculated attacks for years now. These attacks have all been at social issues and financial systems. And they weren't attacks, really, they bought in. They printed money, trillions, and spent in in the US. Not just the US, around the world.

Then, COVID magically appears. They buckle down their own internal travel systems but allow infected to travel abroad.

Then sell off assets across the globe and the entire world economy crashes as China rises...

Nah, I don't think we'll be seeing any foreign boots on US soil anytime soon, not in the traditional sense. Why would they when their current strategy is far more effective.

Short of the EMP scenario I wouldn't at all be surprised for the chicoms to flatten our power grid with a hacked in virus. Our power grid is weak and would tumble like dominoes. See the Texas event that was nearly much worse. The bad is what comes after, the good is no liberals and snowflakes come out the other side of a power grid failure....not even a few months without power. Even where I live in rural farm country many good conservative people have forgotten how to make it on their own but all liberals have long ago. Personally I don't think anything but a Biblical, natural or orchestrated disaster event has a hope of resetting this country back to where the framers intended. It's just gone too far from the platform of the people's voice handed to us in 1776.

I think we've already been hit - by china.

People need to wake up. This whole Russian thing orchestrated by hillary was also set up to help china out as well. Just look at the number of democrats OWNED by china - among the biden.

I know one former military friend of mine who thinks china's military capabilities are not very good even though they have Gen V fighters. I remarked but they stole most everything so it should be good. His argument is quality and training not there. I think that's a foolish perspective myself. China can build quality if they want. Furthermore, every technology they have , obama (and bush) said they wouldn't have until 2030. Hell, I bet they'll have a B-21 clone flying combat ready before we do - that's how pervasive their spying is. They are subject to near zero or zero arms treaties with either us or Russia. You can bet your butt Russia is actually scared of china too.
this above, and that fact they can throw bodies away like rice

And you know our power grid is weak how?

Since it's not, I'd enjoy hearing your expertise and knowledge of it's vulnerability to computer viruses.

You are right our grid is not vulnerable, neither is our election process and Texas didn't lose power to over 4 million homes due to some cold weather....didn't even need to be hacked.

Seriously though because I have no doubt you know far more than me on the subject. Do you really think that our grid is not vulnerable? I know Texas is isolated with their grid, which actually hurt them in the recent outage, but what about everybody else that is tied in to the overall system? Anything that relies on digital technology is vulnerable and nobody needs to be an expert to recognize that. Everything from the NSA to my small town bank card has been hacked.

Wrong! https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-russia-sanctions-energygrid-idUSKCN1GR2G3.

Also, hacking isn't the only way to bring down the grid or good portions of it. A story a few years back about a major PG&E having a transformer taken out by a few well placed rounds of ammo. Think in terms of a year or more from the time an order is placed to delivery. Those things are huge and you can't buy one at the local five and dime.

So you show me your credentials and what makes you such an expert in this field.

theres a lot of security things that dont need to be on the internet.

i dont believe our "grid" is vulnerable to a computer virus that could shut down power. currently, we are in 2021, dont you think that if it was possible on a large scale to do , it would have been tried and done by now?

im sure there are cyberattacks are certain aspects all the time. but you dont think power companies and operators know that and arent actively guarding against that just like every single other company operating with a modicum of knowledge?

since you mention Texas ice storm, the reason the power grid got to where it was because of 40% of generation down for scheduled outages and ERCOT planning that was piss poor. i may not be as worried about it as you are since the terrorists have not found a way to control the weather as such they can willfully make it be below freezing in every county in Texas, at the same time. if that happens to be the case they control the weather, i think snow and ice may be 3rd or 4th on natural disasters they'd pick to terrorize us with.

so, in your linked story, did the "cyberattacks" actually yield control of or failure of any electrical assets? it says they planted malware in a computer system network. there is no mention or evidence that system had any access to electrical system generation or controls. basically, they got into the server network of a company, just like any other company that has an internal file/computer system. is that a problem? certainly. does that lead to failure of the electrical grid? it doesnt say but i doubt it did.

im familiar with the transformer lead times. and i never disputed that anything wasn't vulnerable to a physical attack, which basically anything in the world is, depending on what its being attacked with.

i dont have any credentials to show. im just a guy who sweeps floors reads things on chalk boards.

Ukraine is about to cease to exist...

No one will attack US direct. Why bother? We are being destroyed from within and in a few years will be a non-entity at current trajectory. And an attack would unite and galvanize us, which is exactly what they don’t want.

But watch Ukraine go in next few weeks. Then Taiwan. Maybe South Korea. Iran may well make some territorial attempts, too. Putin is going on the March. His axis powers will see him get away with it and it will be global game on.

Ukrainians preparing for some more bombardment of DNR&LNR , political ratings of the president are in subzero territory so expect a flareup sooner than later. They have also been sending armor and artillery close to the front lines.

What @THEIS said. Plus a lot of time reading tea leaves.

I hope I am wrong. I mean really, really want to be wrong.

But there is a lot of bad juju going on. And we aren't in a position to stop any of it. We don't have the will... even if we have the capability. I think our enemies know that.

And I don't use the term 'enemies' lightly. Pax Americana is done. Nato is a non-entity. They'll hand over Ukraine and the FUSSR states to Putin in a second. Xi is bad news at a Mao level... but Mao presided over a third world nation, not a technological and financial powerhouse. We handed our entire industrial base over to China to get cheap Wal-Mart lawn ornaments and big-screen TV's for cheap.

The world is at the feet of China and FUSSR. We are going to be stuck with internal strife for years thanks to our 'socialist' menace within. The Woodstock generation has grown up, and their pledge to destroy America is coming to fruition. If we're lucky, they will keel over and the Gen-X-ers... will save our bacon again. Like they did after 911. They have the potential to be The Greatest Generation Part II. We can hope.

Anyway... Stay safe overseas. I don't think it's going to be a good time to be a Ukrainian. Shame. Such a wonderful country with so much potential. They'll get crushed and slaughtered again, though. Sucks to be at the crossroads of empires.

Watch the videos on youtube about the 93rd BDE getting its ass handed to them by the russians a few years back.

If they do decide to invade, maps will have to be changed.

Doc

Ukraine would be in for a fight for its life, as would Taiwan and very doubtful either would survive. Taiwan of the two has the best chance of survival but not much.

Without help for either side South Korea would whoop North Korea's ass, massive numbers in the north's army and artillery pointed at Seoul aside. Technological and equipment levels far go to the Souths advantage and their military is very capable. Hell, the starving north would never get past the first South Korean supermarket. The level of mind fuck the norths' soldiers would have witnessing what exists in the outside world could leave many frozen and unsure what to do. Last time the north invaded neither side was very modern, far different world this time around. Once Taiwan is finished however look for China to step in and help the north from getting its ass kicked. I wouldn't be surprised to see Japan jump in on ROK side without our asking, as a buffer between them and China, both of which have a long history of hate towards each other.

Chinese can and will play a long game with Taiwan. No reason for them to go for invasion and risk a wider shooting war which is just about the only thing that could derail their ascent to a superpower. Think tanks and media hyping the threat of invasion is just pure propaganda. By now you should know better , MSM is a joke and rivals the Norks in propaganda it pushes.

Russia has no interest in invading Ukraine, but of course, if DNR&LNR are threatened,' vacationers' will take a detour across the border while artillery wrecks everything in its range, there is no possible outcome that would not result in Ukrainian defeat. Likely followed by Donbass becoming part of Russia. In the past year people living in LNR&DNR had an option for fast track to Russian citizenship and about 0.6mio got it so far. That changes the calculus quite a bit.

BR, I've found your posts to be very accurate when it comes to situation in Eastern Europe. Only if it is not a secret, what is your background?

Why would Russia or China want to rescue us from such a state? At their expense? It would be like the US invading Mexico.

Why would Russia or China want to rescue us from such a state? At their expense? It would be like the US invading Mexico.
There is only one reason why China and Russia would be interested, and it is the stability of the U.S. currency. Both countries have a sizable portion of their wealth in the U.S. dollars. Makes no sense for China or Russia to try to hurt the U.S. and then to loose a bunch of money in the process.

Russia has pretty much completely divested of treasuries/Us dollar. They've been going big on gold for a while now.

No one will attack US, at least not with a conventional army.

the claim of anthropomorphic climate change is a tool used to redistribute wealth and frighten people into being controlled.

until we can find a way to stop the forces of plate tectonics, solar flare activity, and variations in planetary orbits, the climate is going to change.

maybe we can try and stop the poles from reversing? it would be crazy interesting to see how we would try and prevent that. the last time it happened was 42,000 years ago and the pollution from all of our coal burning factories and leaded gasoline cars was probably the culprit.

Russia won’t, they haven’t given a shit about us since the Soviet Union. Pfffft they’re better allies than France, Germany, Sweden, etc. China would be stupid to try to attack us. Currently there’s still a rifle behind every blade of grass.

In my opinion Russia has no interest in invading anyone.
Why should they?
They have everything they need and are doing pretty fine, although the western allies try to lower their economy.

And in my opinion also, they have no interest in invading Ukraine.
NATO was lying to them about "We go not further East than to the German borders."
In fact the NATO plays war at the Russian borders now, and our politicians call them being agressive, lmao.

If you know, where the harbour of their southern Navy is, you know why they took back Crimea.
If the NATO would have gotten hold of Crimea, the whole southern Navy of the Russians would be cut off from the seas.
They had to overtake it just because of pure existence-threatening.
I honestly don´t think, that the Russians have any interest for the rest of Ukraine.
