Re: how many rounds do you have per firearm
I have a 300WM and 50 cases seems to be more than enough in a hunting application. But, I have another 50 prepped and ready, when the time comes. In fact, every rifle I own is for hunting something, and one doesn't need massive amounts of ammo, especially since a good number of those rifles require fireforming. I'm comfortable with between 100 and 400 cases per rifle. Now, bullets, primers and powder is another matter, I might stockpile those items. But, if a man takes care of his brass and loads it judiciously, 200 cases will last a very long time, sufficient for the life of the barrel, I think? BB
