That was interesting... Totally different from how we do it, with the solemn roll call. Shit always made me cry. Ours is just too damn sad, sad to say I like their way better. Infantrymen through and through, true blue.

Was quite a day i assure you. This funeral was for 3 pers killed in an IED attack on the 19th August last year. One of the casualties was Cpl Luke Tamatea, a Sniper, hence the sniper escort across the parade ground. For a small army lossing 5 within 2 weeks was quite a low point in what was our battalions second to last rotation in Afghan.
