Hello just brought my AI AT trigger home , and read the whole service manual and saw there is no information regarding trigger adjustment, hoping some could shed some light on his for me thanks

Do you have a comp trigger?

If you don't and do not fully understand how that trigger works, there is a really good chance you will adjust it outside its working range and then your screwed if you don't know how to reset it. The factory trigger is not really user serviceable...it can be but you do it at your own risk.

Frank has a video on adjusting the trigger weight. AI recommends stepping it down in weight a half turn at the time. I personally would go quarter turns. I’d be careful man. And drop test it when you’re done. If it fails, turn the weight back up. If it fails more or the trigger doesn’t work, call mile high and see what they recommend.

I messed with mine because I live 20 minutes away from MHSA so I knew I could get it fixed rather quickly vs waiting on shipping haha

Mine came pretty light from the factory, so decided not to mess with it.

Here's the manual.

You can mess with the one screw they tell you about in manual.

The other is the sear screw and you can adjust that, but it’s not recommended and doesn’t take much to screw it up. You can get it down to about 1.5lbs.

Either on you adjust, I would write down exactly how much you turned it and which direction.

Look at the diagram on page 4 of the manual.

It adjusts the compression on the spring in front of the trigger, where it's labeled "trigger shoe". Less compression = less felt trigger pull weight, but also softer reset.

Have you tested the trigger yet? I did a whole bunch of research thinking I would adjust this thing, but when I finally shot it I ended up adjusting nothing. You might find yourself in the same boat. 🤷‍♂️

Yep, all this. The sear engagement screw doesn't have a very wide window of safe settings. I'd recommend adjusting in 1/8- 1/4 turn adjustments, write it down, then do a thorough drop safe test. My at came with a pretty shitty trigger, it wasn't overly heavy but the 2nd stage break felt like gravel. I bought an ai comp trigger, it was too light and had some issues. I ended up adjusting my factory at trigger, it was crisp and total pull weight was 2.5 lb.
