Hey guys. Sorry for the beginner questions.
I have a Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20x50 scope with their mildot reticle. Since it is a SFP scope, at what magnification power should I take the mil measurement at? Let's say I measure a 12 inch target with 1 mil. That puts the distance at about 333 yards. Well if I change the magnification and it measures .5 mils, than it is a distance of 666 yards. What is the universal magnification power on the SFP for distance measurements on my mark 4? Man I really wish I had a FFP!
Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am a beginner. Thanks for your time!
