after i mill out my target and find out how far it is, how do i , i guess translate it using turrets on my scope, sorry for the dumb question im not new to shooting but am new on how to be precise and want to learn how military snipers do it.

Do your range estimation:

Then use a table that you make from actual fired Dope or estimated Dope from JBM (http://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmcard-5.0.cgi). Look at the table, dial in the correct number of minutes or mils based on your scope setup.

yea im kinda practicing just measuring tiems then milling them out but dont know how many turns or clicks on my leupold mark 4 it will take to correctly hit the target plan on going out to the range next week
