I just bolted my new Howa 308 barreled action into a KRG Bravo and took it to the range today to get it sighted in. Was using Federal American Eagle 168s fed through an Accurate 10 round magazine. The cartridges would not feed as the bullet tips would not angle up enough to hit the feed ramp. Instead they just prevented the bolt from cycling fully. I assume there's a way to adjust the magazine seating depth / angle, but not sure how. I dont want to bend the mag lips yet as I feel that this would be a bandaid to a bigger issue. Anyone experience this before? Suggestions? Greatly appreciate your input.

Might have to remove some material on either the action or the magazines to get reliable feeding.

Can't quite remember, but different brand mags might work too? Not sure

This topic has been discussed before, might want to try Google

    Maybe it's your magazines.

I have two Howa 1500s, a 308 and a 223, both in KRG 180-Xray chassis. The 308 uses Magpul and Alpha magazines. The 223 uses MDT plastic magazines.

    Both feed flawlessly.

ALso, if you read the instructions that came with the Bravo chassis you'll see that there's a way to adjust the friction of the magazine well by moving the forend slightly fore and aft.

    Try both

Googled it, but advice is all over the place. Some recommend trimming the bolt stop. Others magazines, chassis or action. I want to see if there’s any deemed free fixes lol. Thank you

Foe what it’s worth, I bought the mags from KRG which are made by accurate. Thanks for the advice
Doesn't really matter. AICS pattern magazines are a crap shoot. Most work well, regardless of brand, but every now and then dimensions and tolerances stack up in a way that some won't.

Remember that this whole rifle/chassis/AICS magazine deal isn't some open source, highly engineered system. 99% of this shit is reverse engineered and a lot is lost in the translation. It's not like buying a Glock.

    you da man!

I Removed the barreled action from the bravo chassis and there’s a small screw holding the trigger guard in place loosening it allowed me to push it just a smidge forward snuggling up the magazine and preventing it from tilting down. I opened the mag lips up a tad too. Seems to feed ok, maybe a little more pressure o. The bullet tip on the feed ramp than I’d like but I can tweak it more as needed. Thanks for the advice!
