Howa 1500 Questions

Couple of questions for the Howa shooters.

How long is the mag box on the 1500 in the .308 family of cartridges?

Where is the best place to get the stainless barreled actions from?

Not sure on the mag length, I usually just shoot 308 factory match in mine and just switched to the PTG DBM system to use AICS mags. On the occasions that I do put handloads through it, my seating depth put COAL at 2.825 and it fit and fed fine through the factory internal magazine.

However if you have a Sportsmans Warehouse near you, they can order the barreled action of your choice. Or order direct from Legacy Sports and pick it up through a local FFL.
