I know of a few people who had good experiences with Howa. And I think you can still get Howa 1500 barreled actions at Brownell's and then set them in whatever stock or chassis that you want.
I think that's a pretty old gun because they moved to the mini action for 223. They've done a bunch of Kryptek guns over the years so I'm guessing that's what that is. That looks like a standard 1500 short action.

I didn't know that but I don't exactly keep track. I can see reasons for both. Cabelas had a bunch of blem 223 mini actions with kryptek stocks and 1:8 barrels for $450. Still regret not grabbing one.
Thank you all for answering! Is it weird that I can't find this finish and stock anywhere? Or did they just make so many different ones that it's just lost in the online mess?
