I'm looking at putting my remington 700 into an HS Precision PST006 stock and was just wondering if it required any kind of glass bedding or if the aluminum bedding block was good enough?

It is good enough. I had a remington 5r mil spec in an HS stock unbedded and it shot good.
Once I put it in a chassis system it shot better.

The only reason I would bed the stock is if the gun won't shoot. I am a fan of HS stocks, I have had five. I only skimmed one and it didn't shoot any better than it did unbedded. My 6.5x284 would shoot in the .1s sitting in a unbedded HS PST stock and my 243 is a .2 gun sitting in a HS PST adjustable stock. Plus, if you ever want to sell the stock, a not bedded one sells better than a bedded one.

That'd be more than good enough results for me. As others have said try it first without. I personally have had great luck with my factory Remmy 700 308 sitting in an unbedded HS precision stock. Several half moa groups and when its not half MOA I know its me not the equipment. Im a fan of their stocks and think you will like them too. Good luck and safe shooting to you.

My bad my 308 sits in a Bell and Carlson Medalist I wasnt thinking when I posted that it was in an HS. On any account I feel that they are similar in quality and I like both. I did however just pick up an old VS model 700 in 223 that has an HS stock specifically for that stock. Im planning on turning it into a 300 blackout and figured finding that one with the HS stock (vs a newer varmint 700 with the plastic stock) would be a geat way to go and save me some money over buying a new HS/Bell and Carlson or real fancy McMillan/Manners.
