Hunting & Fishing HSM w/Berger for hunting

Looking to try/shoot some off the shelf ammo for hunting out of a gas gun this fall. Any one have any experience with this brand ammo?

Specifically the 168gn for Elk. Not sure if the grain is too light for Elk?

That bullet will be just fine for elk. I've killed lots of game animals with hsm ammo.

I have a .308 GAP-10. The HSM Trophy Gold 308185VLD, 308 Winchester, Berger Hunting VLD, 185 grain was very accurate. I reload now but would not hesitate to use it.

Cabela's has the 168 vld in stock (did not try this in my rifle so don't know if it works as well as the 185 vlds). I don't know of anyone who has the 185 vld in stock.
