Gaupo and I have spent a lot of time talking and shooting cans this Summer. He has developed a real world usable can for rifles mostly the AR. He came up with a short one (4.5 inches) This one is designed to be used only as a CQB can or taget shooting without hearing protection, Its compact and lowers the rifles report enough I shoot one on my 7.5 inch M-16 without hearing protection on full auto. there is enough of a expantion chamber that unburnt powder causes no problem. By no means am I saying its real quiet but as a real world working can for sound suppression it works great. It had a 22db reduction at the east Texas suppressor expo. I just recieved a 6 inch multi baffle can that is about 1/2 the weight of any other 223 can. I put it on a 22LR and it is as quiet as any other 223 can I have tried. Summing it up if you are looking for a can that wont hit every door jamb running entries at a good price try one. below are some pics of my 6 inch on my 7.5 in "Team 10". The bottom picture is at the expo with a 4.5 inch on the same rifle in full auto
