Rifle Scopes Hunting Scope: Zeiss HD 5 vs Leica ER.

I have a 5-25 x 50 Zeiss HD5 on my hunting rifle (300 win). I like it, its a little unnecessarily big and not very bright over about 18-20x. I am thinking of downsizing and upgrading. I am leaning toward the Leica ER in the 3-15 x 42 wondering if anybody else has used this or a comparable Swarovski and can share any opinions.
It would need to reach out there a good bit and clarity and brightness are big for me too. I also like that the Leica has a 30mm tube.

Any insight would be appreciated.

The Leica is light and bright. Only downside for me were the limits on available reticles. I'm waiting for them to expand their line, but not too likely to happen anytime soon ;(
