Our first hurricane of the Atlantic season is here and expected to make landfall south of Corpus Christi this evening- July 25. We certainly need the rain but don't need destructive winds or tornadoes. Good luck to anyone in its path! Stay safe.

Grew up on the water in N.C. Lots of hurricanes. Got out of the service and lived/worked in Miami for a decade including Andrew. Sitting in front of the tube watching the weather Channel right now for the updates. Don't miss the damage to beaches and property but y'all stay safe and we'll keep ya lifted up brother... especially from the geese!

Yeah, hopefully nothing more than some much needed rain and a few heavy wind gusts. I’ve learned to avoid local news stations during times like this as it’s nothing more than a group fear orgy.

I'm hoping Corpus Christi and other places in the path are OK but I'm hoping we do get some rainfall out of it in central TX. We need it.

While Harvey did affect many people, we were overall fine in corpus. I'm hoping Hannah won't be as strong.

Damn, and Bob hall had survived everything thrown at it in the past. If I'm not mistaken, it's never been rebuilt.

We ended up with almost a foot of rain and minor wind damage to trees and landscaping. It's still raining on and off though. 'She was a wet one.'
