I am looking for a radio pouch

I have a yaesu vx-8dr radio and I would like to put it on my vest but because its a small radio I cant find a pouch. Got any ideas?

This is something I found on AR15.com It might give you a few idea's. You may have to find something close and modify it to suit your needs.

I don't know what model I have because it was issued to me but I use an eagle industries pouch for my VX-7. It allows a spare battery to sit under the radio and the hand mike cable room to protrude out the top. You may also look at the eagle GPS carrier that would work and allow you to see the screen on the radio.

I was just at the uniform supply shop today. 5.11 makes a nice radio pouch.

I use one of these for my Icom 91AD:

Had it for 4 years and you can't tell it's been used, less sand/dirt/dust.
- The strap goes over the the center and holds the radio firm inside.
- Padded - lightly
- Snap belt on back can be used to attach to belts or other gear. (Superbuckle option)
I use mine with a remote mic/speaker, so I don't need frequent access to buttons on the radio.

I have 2 CP-L and for a couple of years now and they work great.
