Yea I saw that the other day. What a dumb ass. What would a warrant have done? They would have impounded the car until a warrant was issued.
My take away is this.

Agree, I would have made them go get a warrant, and serve it properly, while I waited.
Maybe they would have walked away.

Two things stood out to me beyond what was already said:

1) Why "19 rounds with one trigger pull," instead of 20, or 30?

2) Bond was set at $5150. That's police code for escaped mental patient...coincidence or subtle joke?
