Gunsmithing i may have effed up fluting this barrel.

it wasn't slotting, it was interpolated using a 3/8" 5 flute basset brand "hardlube" coated carbide endmill. the pocket was .6875" wide, .625" deep. with lots of flood coolant, chip evacuation wasn't a big deal. what was tough was the swarf building up in the bore channel and i think that is where any marks in the floor came from. the surface finish on the walls was fine although i could hear a bit of chatter in the corners with a .2" radius and a .1875" radius cutter.
