Black voters “are definitely listening” to President Trump’s message “and it is resonating,” Kimberly Klacik, the Republican woman running for the Baltimore U.S. House seat held by the late Rep. Elijah Cummings, who was a Democrat, told “Sunday Morning Futures” in an exclusive interview.

In her speech at the Republican Convention, Klacik accused the Democratic nominee of believing that Black Americans "can't think for ourselves." “A lot of people don’t talk about the fact that the criminal justice reform is something that many Black Americans thought President Obama would tackle. He failed to do that,” Klacik said on Sunday. “He didn’t even attempt to do it.”

I think it took a "Trump" to wake some folks up. I saw some idiot on foxnews.com wrote an opinion piece still claiming Trump was racist. Funny how people like Ben Carson, Ms. Klacik, Herschel Walker, and a list of black intellectuals are not buying into that - only the liberal press/marxists. Frankly, Herschel has always been rather conservative. Trump's policies have brought, criminal reform (not this pandering that's going on now with the marxists), increased economic opportunities, etc. Finally somebody is doing something instead of just trying to keep them as a voting block.

I think the republicans still don't do a good job as a whole to say..look, we are all Americans and if we all work together, because we are Americans, nothing can really stand in our way..we can only stand in the way of ourselves. They need to lay down what's at stake a bit better (convention notwithstanding) - china, russia (to a lesser extent), energy independence, trade, and on and on. But you have a bunch of inarticulate power-hungry old farts like Turtle Mitch, Lindsaaaaaay (will he get beat?) people who are all about status-quo. That's why, to me, it's so refreshing to see people like Ms. Klacik who have made the discovery on their own and are passionate about it!!

I think she could do well for Baltimore, but after spending almost ten years just outside Baltimore and being part of a Baltimore Crime and homicide page on the Facebook, her message is completely missed by the community.

These are people that think the the JLIN's blimps at Edgewood were manned by FBI agents to lock up black people. These are people who constantly cry about systematic racism but have elected democrats almost exclusively for the last 100 years.

the funniest part of all that to me is the African American community choosing to exclusively support the democratic party of the people who first brought them to the country as slaves supporting that party for 100 years and now supporting that same party again while that party tried to take away the rights and freedoms of citizens and make them slaves as well as the entire country under socialist/ communist rule but white people are also supporting trading there rights to make any choices for that same communism . While none of them and I mean none of them would travel to china or russia to live perminatly cause things are so wonderful under communist rule . If white people are so greedy what would make them think the democrats of all parties would what give them power or freedom or any choices once they take all our rights away yea right they will . Its sort of funny in a very sad way .
