I had some success with CFE 223 in the past but had some pressure issues. I decided to give it a go again since rebarreling my gun and found one hell of a load that should be a solid 1000 yard shooter.

*standard disclaimer: this load is for informational purposes only. Please ensure you work up loads properly for your gun.

168 gr ELD Match (group was actually shot with AMAX but should shoot the same)
46.5 gr CFE 223
Norma brass
CCI 200 primers
2.870” OAL

Group measured .400” which equates to a .092” group (.091 moa). Group averaged 2728 fps with a SD of 6 fps.

Rifle is a Rem. 700p with a 24” 5r, 1-11.25” barrel and Surefire SOCOM 7.62 mini suppressor in an XLR chassis. Shot off a bipod with a rear bag.

Cfe223 is very temp sensitive like w748. That is why i switched my 308 load to Imr 8208. Meters great but very temp stable like varget.

It’s a great feeling when you know you got a very accurate load dialed in. Congrats on that ! You are where all us reloaders aspire to be.
