If I have it WOT, trimmed up and the tabs up it will slide like it's on ice.
Running that way through the mangroves causes a bit of pucker here and there.

I posted this up a long long time ago. My buddy Jimmy (he's really a Jimmy) lives on the Grays River just down the road from me. His son has a lot of money and is in to big powerful toys. For Jimmy's surprise B-Day party his son Brandon off loaded at the Rosburg Hall just up river and while we were standing around drinking soda pops his son comes flying by. You could hear that 27 footer roaring down river and Jimmy is like "what's that sound"? Then he see's his son come by. The boy started crying right then and there. Anyhow, Jimmy and I and Jimmy's father in law all jumped in and got mic'd up. We shot out to the Columbia and ran in the mid 90's. Fastest I've been on water and it was fucking terrifying. He said he's pulled tubes behind it and damn near killed people. Human water skippers. lmfao

The title says the Naselle River but it's actually the Grays. Not certain who there posted it but they ain't local.........

What's even more fun is when the boat begins chine walking at speed.
The pucker factor meter pegs out.
We were on a canal leading to a flood lake running flat out. We come to a corner and he drops the speed into the mid 70's and makes an abrupt 90* turn.
I thought we were going to hit the bank and that thing turned like a coaster on rails.
Our biggest worry was dodging the 10-13' gators every 3-400 yards

Work at a boat shop don't have anything like that but have a Keith Black hemi pro-mod running 3000+ hp with a 14.71 blower any less than 100 and I'm not amused anymore

That was filmed only a couple of hours drive from my place in an area that I have fished quite often. No crocs down here, they are all further North.
