F T/R Competition I want to try this

I been shooting smallbore BR for score 100 yards receiver sights,,,average around 200/15X and have shot several 200/18x and a couple 200/19x but never shot a 200/20x at 100,,

I have pieced together more of a tactical rifle in 6.5x47 on a Stiller Tac 30 action and #17 HV 28 inch Bartlien 8 twist 6.5x47 Lapua,40x45 Leupold scope,it is in AICS 1.5 Chassis which doesnt work well off a rest but it shoots good and just gonna get some 300 yard targets and see how I can do on my home range,,dont want to get my feelings hurt in public yet,,maybe work out to 600 latter on,,just lookin for a new game with the 22 ammo situation,,

Don't be shy. The first and so far only match that I've shot was May/June LR @ Butner. No embarassment but plenty of fun and good folks.

I think the game just gets better when more people are involved. I started by shooting at home by myself a whole lot. I would pick the best wind conditions and try to make sense of everything. But when you go to matches you have to shoot at that specific time. Then you get to see everything at once and you learn so fast.

in my smallbore practice I would set times on Sunday for when I would shoot that week and shoot no matter what,,that is when I started seeing the most improvements,,I usually shot on tuesday and friday after work at 5 oclock and at a Match or a simulated Match at home on Saturday mornings,,

I have some 300 and 600 yard targets ordered to at least get a feel for it and I plan on going and giving it a try in about a month at a local private range,,they do a lot of egg shoots and a little FClass type shooting but isnt registered or sanctioned,,

it sure looks like fun and a lot more demanding than just banging steel plates,,
