I may have been rough on them in the first post, but I wouldn't just underestimate the Chinese. Their society is harder than ours and more willing to suffer privation. Talk to any Korea vet if you don't believe me. Translation: they learn from their mistakes and come back twice as strong.

So, what's the point? That as a society they aren't nice guys when it comes to getting ahead? I think we all know that. It just won't do anything for us to underestimate them, no matter how it is that they arrive at their results.
