I recently inherited a bolt rifle which my grandfather was unable to remember the caliber it was chambered in. It bears the Interarms stamp, marked “Cal 300 mag”, and serial B212004. There is a small marking partially under the stock that reads 0277, with a stamp down the barrel that says “stp n”. Is this a 300 Win Mag, 300 WSM, or 300 Weatherby Mag? Thanks.

The only way to know for sure is to cast the chamber with Cerrosafe.
Updated to add: I found this old user manual for the Interarms Mark X and in the back under parts it lists the barrels it lists .300 Win Mag, however refer to the advice above to be safe.

Found this with a Google search. This ones a 300 win mag. Good chance yours is too, but obviously I can't say 100%

It doesn’t have the mark x stamp there, but the rest looks the same. Guess I’ll get it cast then. Thanks
