what are thees 30mm mounts? who makes them? how are they?

a little more the halfway down. the 4 identical mounts that the 1-4x 's are sitting in. what are they?

Your picture does not show so I copied the URL and pasted it in google. It still did not show but in the heading it said...www.jonaadland.com/Hunting/SuperSniper

All I have ever heard was top notch and tough as nails.

Yeah those are Aadmounts. Follow the link I posted or click on Jon A's links in his sig line under the photos you are talking about. Jon A is the guy who posted those pictures and is the owner of Aadmount.
