An easy way to know what each adjustment/click value is, is to view it as a fraction. The numerator will be the range and the denominator will always be 4 if you're using a 1/4 MOA adjustment. Such as:

100yds- 1/4
200yds-2/4
300yds- 3/4
600yds- 6/4
1000yds- 10/4
etc...

Then you break down the fraction. If you're using a 1/4 MOA scope, each click at 1000yds will move impact 2.5" Hope this helps simplify if for you.

That is a very good way to remember! Hadn't heard that before. Thanks.
