If DC doesn't follow the law why should Americans?

Every day is a new wonder of why I am expected to obey so many laws day in day out, a good number of them stupid.
While all those who choose to openly defy any law they don't want seem to not only get away with it but are celebrated.
I'm supposed to be peaceful, civil, calm, respectful
Apparently everybody else can get away with being violent animals.
The political side I support is constantly under intense scrutiny while the opposite side flaunts how much they disobey the law without thought.

This is why the world is heading downhill fast... no reward for being good... praise and worship for doing everything wrong.

Why don’t we all write our critters and demand action, write the DOJ to. Flood them,l. Yes, I know they are all part of the problem as well but we can see how they react by each one of us posting their responses here. Then we can start blasting their responses to the American people proving that they think they believe they are above the law and maybe more people will wake up. Military leaders are just as guilty in this. When all else fails we should all ascend upon DC and demand something be done. Hard I know because most of us work, but it’s something. YouTube it all. You get where I’m going.

Hilary walking, the FBI criminality, the Wasserman Crininality, Judges stepping outside their mandates and legsislating from the bench in areas that they have no authority. And everyone looks teh otehr way, when is there going to be accountability. where is Fucking Jeff Sessions? what a waste of air.

HaHaHa

It is like the kids' show "Where is Carmen Santiago?"

It is going to be the Achilles heel for POTUS.

I DON'T FUCKING GET IT!

So, what’s the point in bringing it up and talking about it? Nobody is going to do anything about it. I keep saying it’s going to demand some guys with balls to go demand change but year after year we are still bitching about it on the internet. One person ain’t going to change it, a few men ain’t going to change it. It’s going to require men with balls to go on a decent scale. See most conservatives have this mobilization or getting together problem. We like to bitch about it but never mobilize to do anything about it. The enemy has zero issue rallying the troops, the media nor the funds to continue their slavery.

Ive been called for jury duty every year since I started voting (republican) 4 years ago. Was never called once in the previous 15 years of not voting.

As the tempers get shorter...so does the time for justice. But will true justice turn down the heat? Or will it just cause the other side to boil? The evidence will have to be indefensible to make most of the left to stand down.

Mueller and Huber will be the deciding factors it seems..

Last time I was called up, I just told them like it was when asked my opinion of insurance suits. Plaintiff’s attorney couldn’t get me out the door quick enough.

I have no issue with jury duty. But when lawyers/prosecutors weed through the jury pool and hand select the ones they feel suit their case the best, is what i have an issue with. I also have an issue with the "random" jury selection. Once per year since I started voting isnt a coincidence.

It's called voir dire, and it's part of the systems of checks and balances between defense counsel and prosecutors. Both sides have the right of objection in selecting a jury.

I get asked for Jury duty regularly, but never get chosen, probably because I'm too interested in actual justice and right vs. wrong.

Same here. First question from defense attorneys is, "Anyone active or retired military.' A positive response will get you out the door.

About 20 years ago I made the preliminary selection for a DUI case. Defense attorney asked the dumbest looking guy in the room, "Mr Dumbass, if you measured something, let's say weighed a brick on a scale and it said three pounds. You take it off the scale and re-weigh it and it reads six pounds. What would you think?" "Uh, the scale's broken?"

I start shaking my head and mumbling, "No, no, no." Apparently, he heard me and asked if I had something to say. I replied, "Apples and oranges. You're weighing the same object twice versus measuring two different breaths."

I didn't get picked.

Fuck jury duty! I'm surprised they even try and select me for jury duty when they know by now I never make it past the selection process. Although it is funny to watch the reactions they have when I go full blown anti-Authoritarian on them.

Jury duty is your chance to make an impact and nullify bs laws. It's retarted to get out of it on purpose.
Who said I was trying to get out of it on purpose. I’m not about to compromise my beliefs during the selection process just so I can be a hand grenade after the selection process. Everyone loves to talk about rights under 2a, but don’t forget that 6a guarantees right to trial by an IMPARTIAL jury. If I believe 100% that society is too litigious when it comes to frivolous insurance suits and no argument will change my mind then I’m doing the plaintiff a disservice under her constitutional rights by saying otherwise.

What you are saying is very true however your job on a jury is not to determine the rational of the trial but rather the facts of the case. I served once on a Federal case and it was fascinating to play a role, frankly I walked away with a new found respect of the court system. I also worry about comments people have about avoiding the duty because honestly, if I was on trial, the people I would want determining my fate are likely you same guys versus a bunch of SJW types.

I won’t disagree with you’re statement about objectivity, but the selection process is also part of a fair trial so I have no qualms about having been excused. Most importantly, I definitely don’t want the SJW determining the outcome!

I wear a suit and tie everyday, and when selected I wear it to the courthouse. I NEVER get picked. The defense gigs me first round without asking a single question. Seeing who goes on those juries is enough to make any sane person avoid court at all costs.

Judges can overturn a guilty verdict but not an acquittal. So if the judge wants you to slide you slide. A Judge can screw you without a jury and unscrew you with one. Who appoints the Federal Judges...Politicians.

Im looking forward to this jury duty next week. It is a "jury B" selection. Im assuming its some sort of criminal case? Never been called to jury B. Always A, which is grand jury.

Are you allowed to wear a Trump shirt to court? Going to make the court great again.

Personally, I consider it a privilege and responsibility to do jury duty.

As said above, if I were on trial Id want some reasonable heads over the clowns I generally see.

How corrupt can it get?

A judge can declare a mistrial even in the case of aquital citing the jury's failure to follow instructions . Just ask the Bundys . I believe it was four trials until an aquital . That was a real display of impartiallity .
Shows how law abiding the right side is. Leftists would solve those problems outside the courtroom.

They don't call me but there are reasons some of you get called more than others. I forget the details but it has something to do with employment, taxes, voter rolls or something. Wish I could remember. They'd bring my ex in there to do it. But not me.

Makes sense. All the people I know that never get called, are unemployed or work under the table. Some have criminal records.

I guess if you have a job, and no criminal record, you get the great honor of jury duty. Every. Single. Year. I live in a county, of roughly 61,000 people. And our courts arent filled up 24/7. So for me to get called. Every. Single. Year....is really staggering. The odds should be on my side. I wouldnt mind it once every 5 years. Once a year is BS. I work out of county a lot and it always interferes with my job.

Makes me want to go KO an antifa pos.
