We all get it, every once and a while some officer is having a bad day and goes off, a person video tapes it and puts it on youtube for everyone to see.

if you post it here, so everyone can tell they favorite cop bashing story, I am banning, you. End of Discussion, and consider this a warning to everyone.

Goldie, while I tend to agree about any cops, on any videos I've seen on here, being douche nozzles, and dislike MOST cops to the point that I couldn't stand my job and retired as soon as I could. I'm definately NOT disappointed that LL did this. Are some, hell maybe even most cops dicks, sure we can say that, BUT what does it add to this site to post these videos, absolutely NOTHING, in fact it's borberline political. Most people come on here to share knowledge about shooting, and even though the videos are often funny, the drama that follows gets old really quickly.

There are a lot of Law Enforcement Officers who come to this site looking for solid information and not be type cast by self appointed righteous idiots who think their particular political bent outweighs common sense.

if you don't like it you have a choice, you can choose to log out and not come back, or you can publicly express your personal disappointment with how I run this site over and over, continuing to try and slip things past me crossing the line in which case I will be happy to log you out.

This site is not about your personal political views, rights and freedom as you see fit, it is about the exchange of information that spans multiple countries, multiple nationalities, multiple cultures, and if you can't respect everyone together you can leave.

It' s just that simple.

LL has a point - the site is a site about precision shooting and how to get better at it. Limiting threads not germane to the intended purpose not only keeps the peace, it keeps the dipshit population in check.

If we want to rail against Barry, JBTs, or Hippies we are all free to carve out our own little slice of the Web and see just how few people either agree with us or give a shit in the first place.

I have learned to sit on my hands here. It isn't the worst thing.

My buddy is a cop.

He just came by to pick up his gen2 Ewing scope stand (For Palma Use).

I told him he was overstepping his bounds!

The scope stand was his wedding gift LOL, his fiance likes shooting too.

You should have be in IT 35+ years ago - it was called Electronic Data Processing back then. Programmers and System Engineers knew how to make every bit and byte count, and global private networks provided sub-second response times. Yup... we had attitudes, but we were also very much appreciated and respected.

I've worked with some of those guys, and respect what they DID....nowdays I want them to retire because it takes 2-3 days to troubleshoot a software issue whereas I can usually take 2-3 hrs...

But they are neat and precise setting stuff up and I like that....usually...

If you don't know about any instances where a cop did something good, then you have your head in the sand. The constant cop bashing is the main reason I don't come here as often as I used to. Perhaps people don't hear or see much "good" being done by officers of the law because the bad news and corruption is what the media wants to report on. People turn on the nightly news to see what bad is happening in the world, not to hear about an officer rescuing a kitten from a tree. Bad news is what sells and grabs the attention of the viewers, not the good.

I know of only one officer whom I know personally and the man would give you the shirt off his back. I've never had any run-ins with the law, nor have I encountered any officers that have been anything but professional. I'm not making excuses for those we've seen who have stepped outside the boundaries of the law but keep in mind that when you're in a stressful situation, people don't always think or act rationally. I can't imagine the amount of stress an officer deals with each day, wondering if he has seen his family for the last time as a result of being killed in the line of duty or the fear of making the wrong decision and costing someone their life.

I came here to learn how Field Craft an things have transitioned from long ago. Until the membership hit about 3-4K it was as it was when I signed up, but after 3-4K for every, 100-200 that signed up, only one was looking to learn/teach anything, except I've a "Sniper Rifle in my safe therefore I "R" one,... When only last week they could not even spell it.

Time spent checking/reading their posts and forums they shy away from, will always revel much more insight,... If you have the ability too read, what they have not posted.
Some of the more "Classic" threads have reveled volumes, similar to the woods,... you either wait, or bait.
