If you were building a 6.5prc to shoot factory ammo what twist?

Sending parts off for a 6.5prc build. Currently have a 1-8 barrel I had planned to use, but considering a 1-7.5. What would you recommend for a 24-25” barrel?

Depends on the bullets you plan to shoot.
147 flies fine out of a 8 twist.

The factory Hornady 147 ELDM shoot great out of my 1:8 twist.

Edit - even hand loaded 156 Bergers shoot well out of my barrel. 24” proof. Would a 1:7.5 be more ideal for those? Maybe so, but I’m not sure they would shoot any better than they already do.
