IMR Powders

I’ve been using some IMR 8208, and 4064 with good results.

Is there any reason to explore the Enduron powders? Is there any upside, or are they not really any better?

I don't use many IMR powders anymore. No particular reason but I've been having such good results with Varget and H4350. That being said, my 6 Dasher prefers IMR 4166 and it has given great results for me with 107 grain Sierra MKs.

I've had poor results with imr powder in 6 5 creed with 140gr heads

I Still use IMR powders. 4064 and 4895 in my m1a, m1 garand, 1903, and IMR 4451 in 6.5 cm.

I like IMR 4064 for 168 and 175 grain bullets in 308 Winchester.

I had pretty good results with IMR 4350 in 6.5 Creedmoor, but H4350 and RL17 are my go to powders that caliber.

IMR 4350 is my go to powder for 270 Winchester.

Anything close to rl-16 in imr? I can find imr in stock everywhere but not alliant, tons of h4350 also

The endurion powders are supposed to be temp stable. 4166 is similar to Varget in burn speed, 4451 is similar to h4350/Rl16, and 4951 is very near H4831.

I'm about to experiment with IMR 4064 with my Nosler 130 RDF's in 6.5CR. 4064 was my Go To for my 175 SMK 308 load.

It is broke. Looking to see if a faster powder will do the trick

I started using IMR 4895 when Varget dried up 5 years ago. Set National record Palma F/TR with it in Raton. That was with 185's. The 200's like Varget a little better.

I've used 4451 in 6.5 Creed w/ 140 and 123gr bullets. It seems to yield less velocity for me than H4350, but it is pretty temp stable, and it seems to be consistent. Not a problem to get an accurate load with a wide node. I've switched to H4350 for competition loads, but I have no hesitation in using 4451 if I run short on H4350 somehow.
