In need of help

Hey yall, i have been buying up parts for a .308 build and im finally putting it all together. I was mating up my handguard (SLR rifleworks quad rail) to my upper (live free armory LR308 pattern). And im having this weird fitment/geometry line up problem. Im not worried about the upper matching the lines but im worried about the off center of the handguard here. It is roughly rattle canned but that wouldnt be throwing off the concenricity of everything. It looks like the rails are well aligned. Any ideas why this is happening. Id like it to be much cleaner looking

--- NVM -- saw the outside misalignment. If you measure the barrel nut threads coming out of the receiver are they actually in the middle of the receiver?

In the photos you don't have the wedges installed. What does it look like with them installed?
