Paying £95 on eBay for a second-hand PlayStation 2 console and two games might not seem like a bargain. But one 16-year-old was left feeling like he had struck gold after his purchase turned up in the post - with £44,000 in euros stuffed inside the box
Nay, the Raiders guns were a S&W M1917 in .45 ACP for non-firing shots filmed in the US/Hawaii and a Hand Ejector II in .455 Webley for firing scenes, mostly on location in Tunisia for the Cairo/Tanis scenes and onset for the Raven bar gunfight.

You are right... though back as far
As The 1980’s I remember an American rifleman article On the New Service as Indiana Jones pistol... wow. I must be losing it more than Joe Biden!
Thanks for dispelling something I have been wrong about for 35 years!!!

It's all good. But on the subject of Indy's guns, the revolver he briefly uses in Temple of Doom (in the car chase and... that's about it, since Kate Capshaw tossed it out the window) has been hotly debated over the years; the current consensus based on production documents is that it's a .38 Colt Official Police, but it was thought to be a Colt New Service or M1917, or even one of the S&Ws from Raiders. And for a long while people thought his Last Crusade revolver was a Webley MK VI instead of a Webley WG.
