Deer season starts next weekend, and I wanted to run some flush cups into my factory Tikka T3 Lite stock tonight (just received them from Grovtec) - after originally thinking that MarineTex would work, I found out that the Tikka factory stocks are made out of a material that is glue-resistant?
I can't find anyone that's installed flush cups into a factory Tikka - so I'm guessing it's not a good idea, and can't be done easily?
Anyone have any input? I'm trying to keep this the 6.5# lightweight deer gun, so going into a heavy chassis is out of the question.
I'm thinking of just threading them into the stock without epoxy?

Put a tiny bit of Gorilla glue on the threads. It can't be gorilla-resistant. The stuff expands so keep it towards the bottom threads and not too much.

It's almost everything resistant apparently. I sent Gorrilla Glue an e-mail.
The Tikka Stock is made out of
glass fiber reinforced copolymer polypropylene.

Gorilla Glue <span style="font-weight: bold">does not</span> work.
LocTite Plastics <span style="font-weight: bold">will</span> work.

Figured it out. Picked up some of the LocTite tonight and finished it. The rear flush cup isn't as center-line as I would have liked it, but the stock-pack/riser didn't have any place to give so I was forced to place it low.
