Gunsmithing Installing Muzzle Brakes Remington 700 AAC

Looking at a JP 'Tank Brake' just wondering do I need to purchase a jam nut or crush washer also or just thread brake straight down on barrel?

I used a crush washer and sanded it down till I got it to index right.

I'm using a shim kit from www.nokick.com.

Thanks for info and link, found a brake I might go with from PWS Precision at nokick.com that comes with shim kit rather than the JP... Heck may just buy both and see which one I like best then sell the other.
