I, like the rest of the damn shooting world, have been waiting for .223/5.56 powder to be available. I normally load H335 for my 55/62gr plinking loads but it's been impossible to find. I saw a pound of Winchester 748 at Cabela's in Illinois about a month ago. I just made a trip out to Sturgis, SD for a prairie dog "hunt" a few days ago. I picked up another pound of 748 at the Cabela's in Mitchell, SD. On the way back, I stopped a Gary's Gun Shop in Souix Falls, SD and picked up 2 more pounds.
All the 1 pounders came from the same LOT. I thought that was pretty amazing considering the distance and size of the retailers. I asked here on the Hide awhile ago how much powder is manufactured within the same LOT. Apparently it's enough to supply multiple retailers almost 900 miles away.
