I wish one of them would write me a nice check.

Sad that much of their fervor is credited to Marxist teachings when Christ said to share with others 2000 years ago.

"Share your shit with those who need it."

Perhaps its the failure of the churches and having a larger conscience as a society that now the millennial's are looking to Socialism and Marx.

Unfortunately the impulsiveness of youth often is not tempered by the wisdom of experience. I see no reason to tear down capitalism. It works, socialism generally doesnt. We need to expand our concern for others in personal ways, leave the government out of it.

1 day ago — The Rich Kids Who Want to Tear Down Capitalism. Ad. Sam Jacobs has had many conversations with his family's lawyers lately. He's trying to get access to more of his $ 30 million trust fund. At the age of 25, he has reached the age at which many heirs can break up their money for crazy shops or a stable ...

In nature there will always be sheep for the predators, we’ve just lost our minds and put the sheep in charge. It’s easy to be rich and be for socialism, it makes you feel better and it doesn’t affect you at all.

    Nothing really new.
One generation works really hard to survive in harsh conditions and have enough to not starve.
Then they pass it on to their children who grew up a bit poor and then got to see a bit of a better life later on, who in turn, with the best of intentions, spoil their kids and try to make sure they never want, never are hungry, never are poor and leave them money and possessions to have a great start in life.

Stupid spoiled brats then listen to "Communists" or whatever the idiots of the day are and whine on about all kinds of BS and want "change" as they sit around in their comfortable houses, with their full bellies, being protected by other hired people.

It’s all fun n games till they get what they want.

    It's kind of Karmic justice.
The stupid rich overly educated young fools are the useful idiots that help whatever the horror of the time is come into power.
Then they get eliminated by their "comrades" as one of the first orders of business for the new regime.

But it’s not just the rich kids.
A good friend was a career door kicker with 20+ years of service and his older daughter is a commie.
They love their daughter but the parents are quite conservative.

Every time I hear one of these millennials talking about how great socialism is, I always ask them to name one socialist country where it and the people have prospered. None of them can do it, because there is not one. A few will spout out Norway or a some other northern European country as an example. Then I explain to them Norway is a social democracy, not socialist. Norway has some really good social programs that are paid for by capitalism, and insanely high taxes on everyone. That is when I ask you do know the difference right? After that they usually get mad and don't want to talk anymore. The level of idiocrasy with these young people used to be funny, it is just plain annoying now.

As for the supposed socialist nordic countrys Don’t forget small populations, strict immigration, large for population government owned oil and quite a few factors like no minimum wage.

    Nothing ever stays the same.
Everything is always in a cycle of change.
The only time we like change is if it’s our own idea or somebody else’s changes overwhelmingly benefit us personally.

These spoiled rich kids are gonna learn the hard way. I figgur we at about 8:30-8:45 o'clock-ish

30 million...lol. I guess he doesn't really know how much money the capitalist really have. If he thinks 30 million dollars is going to even make a scratch in anything he never paid attention in college ... or growing up for that matter

I've been in the same boat.

You can't explain to these fucking idiots that socialism doesn't exist.

All the Scandinavian "Democratic Socialist" countries have a foothold in capitalism but they don't want to hear that, and therefore refuse to agree.

They can't see the forest through the trees.

How comfortable was their daughter's life growing up?
Did she have to wear hand me down clothes or shop at the local Oxfam?
Was lunch or sometimes dinner whatever leftovers and spare bits of food that could be found and thrown together?
When she wanted "extras" did she have to find a way to raise money for them?
Was she expected to run a full schedule of house chores, childcare and gardening?
Did she grow up having to do shopping and manage what to buy vs. a limited money supply?

While it's not an exact cause and effect thing, quite often parents that work really hard tend to spoil their children...

My wife and I live in the 'burbs of Seattle. Everyone and I do mean everyone around here is liberal. I'm a born and raised Seattleite. It's too bad, it used to be a nice place. But, it's progressively gone further and further down the shitter in the last 30 years.

We've finally given up trying to have intelligent conversations with them. Most of them are so fucking lazy, the only place they go for "news" is cnn. We've also ghosted most of them because in addition to not being able to talk sense into them, we're so far apart ideologically, moreso now than we ever have been. I just can no longer sit there and listen to the bullshit/blather that comes out of their mouths. Some of the things I hear are truly mind boggling.

Well he wasn’t an officer so $$ was lean.
She definitely had to help with her younger siblings and do chores.
Where she got the commie bug was at high school and community college.

I was more taking issue with how 'liberal' and 'socialist' get tossed around as synonyms in some of these conversations. The overwhelming majority of liberals and progressives in the US are still capitalist. Even the kids this article talks about are still more than likely capitalists, they just feel guilty about it and have inherited wealth they can toss around to make themselves feel better. For the most part their money will go to non-profits that "raise awareness" without doing anything that rocks the boat. Rich kid alleviates their guilt, pointless non-profit gets funding, still sucks to be poor. It's a tantrum.

Thats what I say aobut my town Charlottesvillle. 25 years ago there was a nice mix of city/county/University. Now all the liberals have moved here and the University has gone ultra liberal. Then the Chinese infection was put on us and where there used to be thongs of people strolling the downtown mall all weekend now its crickets.

Rich kids who go to college and see other kids who aren't rich and feel guilty.
Not guilty enough to give up their station in life, but who think social activism counts as some type of moral penance.
