I’m looking to help a friend that can’t connect to several gun forums but can everything else on his WiFi. This is happening on his phone and tablet. Both android. I Googled it but didn’t really get what seems like useful help.

Anyone have a solution or explanation at least. Thanks

Sounds like content filtering is enabled, either through his router or his ISP. Same way work networks will enable content filtering to block porn sites and whatnot. He needs to look into his settings for his router, most will allow unfiltered access for specific devices if he has it switched on to keep the kids from seeing adult shit.

Past employer of mine overseas would occasionally enable that bullshit and block gun sites, I’d have to go to IT and the bosses to get that shit turned back off as my access to them was required to do our job (firearms instructors).

I worked for Aetna and would get reports sent to my VP because I was searching drugs. He would always have to tell them, that's what he does around here. He analyzes drug spends and regimens.

for me also .. There been some really weird shit going on this last week . I using DuckDuckGo search engine, and I even trying to pull-up Leatherworker.net this week. Have had zero No problem for years pulling up this website on DDG . , BUT without even notification to that website, it was 'Erased' scrubbed off DDG , Was something to do with a pretty big unusual amount of traffic bots attack from Pakistan and Nigeria June 30-July 2nd. .
I could type that Websites Addy. to pull it up. type it directly into the tool bar, and it was like they never even existed .
