IOR Binocular eye piece repair

I have a pair of compact IOR 8x30 binoculars. On both rear soft rubber eye cups, the 1/2 turn extendable type, there was only a tiny amount of glue applied and both rubber cups come off easily and get stuck in the rubber eye piece protector.

I have email IOR several times on a solution and have not heard back.

Any recommendations on the correct glue to bond the rubber eye cups to the metal housing that rotates?

Gel type superglue will work fine.
Clean both surfaces to be bonded with acetone or alcohol and allow to dry first.
